ABOUT SARTORIAL SPLENDOR

Founded in 2012 by Christy Marshall in Atlanta, Sartorial Splendor was born from a personal pursuit to solve the longstanding issue of fit, proportion, and identity within fashion. After experiencing firsthand how traditional sizing systems consistently failed bodies that existed outside conventional standards, Christy committed to designing garments that honored the body through structure, proportion, and intentional construction. Self-taught in both sewing and product development, with over 13 years of hands-on experience, she refined her technical foundation through years of independent design work and professional experience on the Nike team at Fanatics, developing a deep understanding of garment engineering, functionality, and fit systems.

 

With a background in basketball at the University of Georgia, Christy merged athletic sensibility, tailoring, and cultural storytelling to establish Sartorial Splendor as a cut-and-sew luxury atelier specializing in limited outerwear, engineered silhouettes, and exclusive drops that cater to all body types. Built independently without outside investors, Sartorial Splendor has grown from Atlanta to Los Angeles and now New York City through a commitment to craftsmanship, discipline, and intentional design. Every atelier piece has been designed, developed, and constructed in-house by C.Mars, reinforcing the brand’s dedication to authorship, precision, and authenticity. Today, Sartorial Splendor exists as more than a fashion label; it's a design house rooted in craftsmanship, culture, and storytelling, creating garments that fit real bodies while empowering individuals to step confidently into who they are becoming under the philosophy:
